Terms and Conditions of Sale

Prices

All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and are correct at time of viewing E&OE.

Ownership

All products remain the property of 4-Max until paid for in full.

Delivery

Small (physical size) orders will be dispatched via 1st class post or 1st class signed for service (depending upon Value) and may require a signature by the receiver.
Kits and large orders will be dispatched via a Courier Service.

The shipping cost is calculated upon weight. As soon as an item is added to the shopping basket the cost of shipping is immediately calculated and is visible in the shopping cart.

We aim to dispatch orders (where the goods are in stock) within 1 working day, however please allow up to 3 working days.

Product Quality / Returns / Refund Policy / Order Cancellation

In the unlikely event of your products arriving in anything less than perfect condition please use the 'Contact Us' form within 14 days of receipt. Upon this notification, we will issue you with an RMA number and instructions regarding your return.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to return goods for a free replacement or refund within 30 days of receipt.
It remains the consumers responsibility to return goods back to 4-Max Models Ltd, within 30 days of this notification, at the consumers cost.
Any missing, damaged or non working items must be notified in writing (email) within 30 days of receipt.
Any kits must be inspected upon receipt and all parts must be checked off against the contents before any assembly commences as part assembled kits cannot be returned after 30 days from the date of receipt.
We ensure all items leave us in perfect condition, so please do not accept delivery of an item which has obviously been damaged in transit.
Any items that have been involved in a crash, accident or damaged by the customer at any time, are not covered by our guarantee.
Any items that have been modified or disassembled at any time, are not covered by our guarantee.

ITEMS MUST HAVE AN RMA NUMBER ISSUED BY US BEFORE THEY CAN BE RETURNED.
PLEASE EMAIL US FOR AN RMA NUMBER AND GIVE THE REASON YOU WISH TO RETURN THE ITEM(S)
ITEMS WITHOUT AN RMA NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE WILL BE REJECTED.

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the date on which you acquire physical possession of the goods, or if contained in multiple packages, the last delivery.

. Submit your decision using our' Contact Us' form, by using this form you will receive a delivery confirmation acknowledging receipt. However, using this form is not obligatory. Informing us of your decision to cancel your order by a clear statement. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel Your Order within the cancellation period, we will refund you all payments received from you including the cost of delivery (except for any supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other that the least expensive type of delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any good supplied, or
b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
c) If there were not goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel Your Order.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods to 4-Max Models Ltd at 53 Hunters Close Basingstoke RG23 7BG, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from your order to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 30 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristic and functioning of the goods

Guarantee

All Items are guaranteed for 6 months from date of delivery except LiPo Batteries which are guaranteed for 1 month from date of delivery on the sole condition that our"Do's and Don't" and"How to Prolong The Life of Your LiPo Batteries" have been strictly adhered to.

Returns

Any item may incur up to a 10% charge if it is found that a consumer has diminished the value of the goods by handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function.

4-Max are not liable for the cost of returning the goods.

Our aim is to please, give satisfaction and offer value for money.
Should you have to contact us for any reason other than that of obtaining information about our products or placing an order, your communication will be dealt with as speedily and efficiently as possible. Please Email us first.

Overseas Deliveries

All deliveries outside of the UK are shipped by"1st Class International Signed for" service. or courier if over 2Kg. If shipments are over 2Kg then additional money will be required to cover the additional costs. All deliveries outside of the EU are not guaranteed at all. Customers are responsible for local import duties and sales taxes. Please note that we do not ship to USA or Canada plus some other countries.

Privacy Policy

When you place an order with us or make an online inquiry, we gather certain information which you submit. This includes an address and contact details that we require to action your request. We will not sell, rent, lend or disclose your information in any form whatsoever to any third party other than for the dispatch of your order.

Your credit/debit card details are collected on a secure server using the latest 128 bit encryption (same as the military) to ensure your information is as safe and secure as possible. Once payment has been taken sucessfully, your card information is destroyed for your safety.
