Features

• Easy setting / Easy operation.
• Safe start-up – The motor will not start regardless of the throttle position.
• Automatic power cut-off – When the motor is stopped or when the radio signal has been lost for more the 3 seconds.
• High rate of switching (PWM Pulse Width Modulation) 8 kHz
• Over voltage protected. The ESC will not start if the voltage is greater then 18V (except for the OPTO versions)
• Low voltage cut-off 3.0V/2.7V (selectable) for Lithium-ion/Lithium Polymer or 0.9V/0.7V (selectable) for Ni-Cd/Ni-Mh batteries.
• Selectable timing modes
  • Low Timing – Providing high efficiency for 2,4 and 6 pole motors
  • High Timing – For high speed motors (6 poles or more) and outrunner motors.
• Selectable cut offs – hard cut off or soft cut off

Factory Default Settings

• Brake off
• Timing – High (suitable for Outrunners and most other motors)
• Throttle curve – Linear
• Battery type – Lithium-Ion/Lithium-Polymer
• Cut off voltage – 2.7V for Li-xx battery
• Cut off type – Soft

Programmable Parameters

• Battery Type: Options are 1.) NiXX or 2.) LiXX. The default is LiXX
• Cut Off Voltage: Options are 1.) Low. or 2.) High. default is Low
• Cut Off Type: Options are 1.) Hard or 2.) Slow Down. The default is Slow Down
• Brake: Options are 1.) On 2.) Off. The default setting is “Off”. We recommend that the brake is set to off unless a folding prop is used.
• Timing: Options are 1.) Low, 2.) High. The default setting is low. If using an Outrunner please change to High.
• Throttle curve: Options are 1.) Linear or 2.)Logarithmic
• Rotational direction: The direction of rotation can be changed by swapping any 2 of the 3 wires that connect to the motor.
