JXF (Xoar) Beech High Performance
Electric Propellers

Xoar and JXF are identical propellers and are both manufactured
by JXF.
We hold the largest selection of these props (either JXF or Zoar)
in the UK
These JXF
props are made to the highest
standards. They are specifically
designed for electric flight
and are manufactured from
premium grade Beech wood
which is both strong and
very light (lighter then
APC electric props)
They have
a unique aerodynamic shape
which produces high efficiency
(more efficient then APC
Electric props) and are
quieter in use. Each JXF
propeller is machined very
accurately to maintain excellent
static and dynamic balance
to minimise vibrations.They
all come pre balanced and
and pre drilled.
Each propeller is hand
finished and given 2 coates
of primer and then 2 coates
of a high gloss tough clear
finish. The quality of these
props has to be seen to
be appreciated.
These JXF propellers are
suitable for all electric
flyers, from F3A, and serious
3D'ers to your Sunday flyer.
As
they
are
very
light
they
put
less
stress
and
strain
on your
motor
due
to centrifugal
effects
and
spin
up and
slow
down
quickly
which
helps
in 3D
manoeuvres.
Notes on balancing wooden props.
Prop reamers are only suitable for plastic/nylon props, they are not suitable for wooden props.
Wooden props need to be drilled. It's best to use a bench/pillar drill to ensure the hole is at
right angles to the prop. A hand drill can be used with care. Enlarge the hole in small increments
(0.5mm is best). Drill half way through, then turn the prop over and drill through from this side.
Repeat this until you have the required size. Make sure the prop is restrained when drilling so
that the prop can not rotate and injure you.
To balance wooden props spray clear car lacquer on the lighter side so that it is slightly heavier.
When the propellants in the lacquer evaporates off it should balance horizontally. Check the balance
again when the lacquer is dry and repeat the above if necessary.
The following test results
were conducted on a PPO-3536-1000
on the same day using a
1000W power supply adjusted
to give the voltage of a
3S LiPo under Load.
